Name: Mikleo Door: Right Canon: Tales of Zestiria Canon Point: Mid-Game (after Sorey completes the fire trial) Age: ~18 (but since he's a seraph, that doesn't mean all that much) Appearance: here! History: all here Though specifically, Mikleo has lived his entire life as a seraph in the quaint little village of Elysia, where Sorey is the only human living peacefully amongst the seraphim. Personality: Unlike his often impulsive best friend, Mikleo is calm and calculated most of the time. Mikleo tends to think through problems and events before acting - weighing the consequences with the potential gains. He is extremely intelligent and pragmatic, and puts those traits to good use when exploring ruins or pondering the next steps in his journey. Mikleo has a wealth of knowledge, especially those contained in books, and he does his best to ground everything in logic. Despite that, he still is a fan of history and the fantastic. It's very often that you'll find him debating or dreaming up the scenarios he and Sorey find scribbled on ruin walls. The past exhilarates him and that excitement coupled with a slight competitive streak makes for spirited debates with Sorey. Fact has an important part in Mikleo's life, and he often gets annoyed if anything deviates from that. Above all, Mikleo is a dedicated and loyal friend. He is devoted to his hometown, Elysia, and to his best friend, even if he is a human. Mikleo passionately protects those he cares about. When his friends make rash decisions (re: Sorey), Mikleo does a poor job of concealing his hurt. It isn't betrayal, necessarily, but Mikleo does take issue when people don't think through their actions as fully as he does, especially when those actions implicate problematic consequences. To some degree, then, Mikleo has a streak of jealousy. Deep down, Mikleo is afraid of being replaced, or, more at its core, losing his best friend to the world of humans. It's always been him and Sorey, and part of Mikleo is jealous that Sorey is so easily able to make friends and blend in with the world around him. It's childish, he certainly knows, but he can't turn off the ugly feelings when someone gets close to Sorey. Mikleo also feels inferior at times, though he does his best to hide it. Instead of dwelling on it, he works to become stronger, more useful, and not to be the "baby" seraphim of the group. He isn't used to being around loud people and those easily more accomplished than him, so it's been a bit of an adjustment. Further, Mikleo can be a bit distrusting of others. While, of course, that means he is likely to distrust humans more than seraphim, it also means that he isn't as blindly willing to see a person's good-side and give them multiple chances like Sorey does. It takes him some time to warm up to others, but the moment that a person enters his circle of trust, he refuses to give up on them or leave their side. In a way, Mikleo can be dependent on others to a rather troubling degree, but he's learning to find his voice and his own power as the journey continues. No longer is he a sheltered seraph in an isolated village - he now needs to grow into a hero and push out of his comfort zone. Powers and Abilities: As a water seraph, Mikleo can control water. This often comes in the form of magical Artes that manipulate the water around him. As aforementioned, Mikleo is gifted in the realm of intelligence and he tries to complement those smarts with his battle skills, since he isn't the quickest or strongest of his group of friends. He's still a young seraph, by all accounts, so even though he seems to have a good grasp on his powers, he'd always learning, always adapting, always getting better - it's a long road. As a Sub-Lord, he can armatize with the Shepherd and any of his Squires. This combines his powers with the human vessels, allowing them to engage in combat as one. Inventory: The golden circlet his Mother, Muse, gave him that bears a green gem in the middle, his cloak (that's the finest of threads) and his staff. Samples: lots of introspection and comedy; lots of dialogue and also THOUGHTS please let me know if you need anything else. ♥ |
